**_If you are an internal associate, please login to Workday and apply through Jobs Hub._****Job Purpose**The Sr. User Experience Designer conceptualizes and designs solutions that are flexible enough to display properly across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices. Works collaboratively with stakeholders to understand and relate business concepts into engaging and intuitive solutions, such as sketches, user flows, wireframes, mockups and/or prototypes. Also conducts UX research and applies usability methodologies when necessary. Ensures a shared UX vision across organizational teams. Responsible for mentoring and supporting other team members as well as collaborating in a team atmosphere to deliver business value.**Essential Responsibilities:**+ Designs professional, engaging solutions for complex applications, and iterates based on user feedback research.+ Practices data-driven design to achieve measurable results and collaborates on requirements utilizing data collected through analytics, user research, and usability studies.+ Establishes and maintains an information architecture that is well organized, user friendly, and presents a consistent corporate look and feel.+ Reviews all elements of design from a human-computer interaction perspective and provides rationale for solutions that ensure maximum usability.+ Researches and establishes UX/UI standards, techniques and methods.+ Drives continuous improvements in user experience, usability, and UI design.+ Demonstrates a solid understanding of Jackson business and works productively with stakeholders to refine user stories, validate acceptance criteria, clarify value and prioritize/remediate work.+ Works with peers to identify, communicate, and reinforce technical standards.+ Provides ongoing mentorship to support architectural standards and initiatives.+ Works in partnership with business product owners, DevOps, DevSecOps, and Architecture to build and mature scalable and robust business capabilities.+ Serves as a thought leader.+ Collaborates with and leads team members to understand problems, recommend solutions, escalate production issues, and provide full transparency into current workload.+ Achieves personal, team and organizational goals by meeting or exceeding agreed upon team commitment deadlines, anticipating and communicating potential technical or business risks, applying experience and knowledge to new assignments, becoming proficient in pertinent toolsets.+ Stay current with industry trends, making recommendations of new technologies that deliver strategic business value and reduce costs.+ Performs other duties and/or projects as assigned.**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:**+ Excellent attention to detail, and ability to create wireframes, user flows, mockups, interactive design and prototypes.+ Excellent understanding of information architecture.+ Excellent knowledge of executing usability methodologies such as card sorting, heuristic evaluations, personas, and ethnographic interviewing.+ Excellent understanding of responsive design.+ Excellent aesthetic sense and ability to think creatively.+ Excellent knowledge of HTML and CSS.+ Excellent conceptual understanding JavaScript.+ Excellent conceptual understanding of dynamic data structures.+ Excellent conceptual understanding of server-side languages.+ Expert understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite and related UI development software.+ Ability to research and communicate new UX/UI design trends and methodologies.+ Ability to work with digital assistive technologies, such as NVDA, JAWS, Narrator, and VoiceOver, as well as accessibility testing tools to enhance the user experience.+ Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively to different audiences throughout the organization.+ Actively seeks and participates in personal and team development opportunities+ Monitors industry trends and developments to improve solutioning.+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentation creation and delivery.+ Ability to identify gaps in process or current / future designs, suggesting possible solutions for continuous improvement when appropriate.+ Expert understanding of software delivery tools, techniques and methodologies including Lean, Agile, and/or SAFe.**Qualifications:**+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and/or education. required.+ 5+ years of relevant experience required.+ Degree in HCI, Human Factors, HCDE, Cognitive Psychology preferred.+ Experience with WCAG remediation preferred.+ Experience in a mature and scaled Agile environment preferred.We don't just accept difference - we celebrate it, we support it, and we thrive on it for the benefit of our employees, our products and our community.
