The video operator will record a wide variety of classes across Penn. The position will engage with CETLI staff who will schedule the class visits and who will make them available to instructors. Because demand for class recordings varies, the hours for this position will vary by the week and time in the school year, ranging from zero hours in a week up to 15-20 hours.Job DescriptionResponsibilities+ Record classes upon request. This includes picking up equipment at CETLI, setting up in the classroom, recording for the class time, making sure video and sound are working, troubleshooting any problems that arise, and getting equipment and recording back to CETLI.+ Manage recording schedule. This includes regularly communicating with CETLI staff in response to requests, and being reliable regarding commitments.+ Monitor equipment to make sure it is functioning properly.+ Perform additional duties as assigned.Qualifications+ Highschool Diploma or GED and 0-1 year experience.+ Familiar with operating digital recording equipment, including the use of camcorders, checking sound, and tripod set up.+ Excellent communicator, around scheduling and needs.+ Reliable.
