Together, we accelerate the discovery, development and delivery of solutions that safeguard and improve human health.The Senior Director, Media Operations role is accountable for Filtration business unit multiple manufacturing sites including Pensacola, Florida and Hauppauge, New York leading to full multi-site responsibilities with future expansions. In addition, this role will have some oversight for Filtration operations in Westborough, Massachusetts and Newquay, United Kingdom. These facilities comprise 500+ associates in total supporting all Filtration manufacturing operations across Cytiva. This includes functions such as Raw Material handling, Quality Control, wastewater treatment and also Maintenance, System Support, Business Continuity and Danaher Business Systems (DBS) driven Process Improvement. All our products are used by biotechnology, pharmaceutical companies, and others for developing and making biologic medicines including vaccines and cancer therapies.Recognized as a senior leader, the Senior Director, Media Operations will lead a very sophisticated manufacturing operation, regularly influence senior management and develop / implement system-wide strategic business plans for the manufacturing plant. This leader will champion our plant’s culture, one that embodies core values of safety, quality, on-time delivery, cost-efficiency, and employee engagement. This position is an onsite role and will be located in Pensacola. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.What you’ll do:+ Driving manufacturing team towards execution of Business Goals using DBS with tools such as Lean Manufacturing methodology, daily management, and Problem-Solving Process (PSP).+ Ensuring sufficient capacity exists to achieve customer commitments per the operating plan and executing on the breakthrough objectives developed by the business in the Hoshin Kanri model.+ Improving fulfillment and other customer metrics while delivering the financial targets for the sites+ Nurturing and developing talent within the organization creating pathways for career growth and ensuring a robust leadership pipeline to secure the future success of our plant operations.+ Fostering a workplace culture that promotes associates’ satisfaction, motivation, and long-term commitment, contributing to the overall success and growth of the organization.+ Driving Product Quality, Lean and e-Manufacturing so that internal business metrics are met.+ Ensure a safe work environment and follow existing laws/regulations. Use Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) and other Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) related tools.Who you are:+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Sciences or Business; Master’s Degree preferred.+ A leader with 15+ years’ experience with proven leadership in manufacturing operations or supply chain. Membrane / Filtration Manufacturing experience is a plus.+ Exceptional Danaher Business Systems (DBS) maturity in methodologies enabling manufacturing operations and leadership effectiveness.+ Creates energy to deliver company goals through creation and comprehensive communication of practical "hands-on" operational plans and strategies.+ Growth leadership skills demonstrating clear perspective and understand factors impacting our businesses and our suppliers.+ Excels in energizing and building strong connections with teams through personal engagement and trust-building.
