This position is part of the Global R&D Organization and will be located in Port Washington, NY. This is an onsite role.

The Sr. Director, Research for Membranes and Media covers research and development of novel materials and membranes in existing Pall portfolio and future considerations to enable strategic applications and markets.
  • The leader of membrane & media research supports all BUs and bridges R&D and Operations working with leaders from the L1, L2, BUs, Chemistry R&D, and operations.
  • Own all stages of media and membrane development from concept to manufacturing.
  • Responsible for ensuring delivery on strategic planning commitments to command the future of media research and separation technologies.
  • Accountable for media research for all critical focus on our next generation membrane platform technology development and commercialization serving business needs in Aerospace, F&B, FTAP, and MicroE.
  • This role routinely coordinates with L1, L2, functions, BUs and Operations to champion and deliver breakthrough technologies that ensure defensible and differentiated technologies are available to Pall in support of overall revenue growth and revenue sustainment.
  • Coordinate with Open Innovation leadership and partners to evaluate and partner with external technology vendors/start-ups.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in Material Science/Engineering or any relevant Science or Engineering disciplines with experience in membrane technology, research, and development.
  • Minimum of 8 years people management experience leading/managing larger groups of people (>20).
  • Familiarity with Pall media utilization, challenges, and manufacturing.

The salary range for this role is between $185,000 and $250,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
