**Work Activity Coordinator / Permit Writer Description** :This person has the primary responsibility for ensuring the work is carried out safely in an effective and efficient way He/she is responsible for the productivity of the team that performs the task.This person also has the secondary responsibility of performing permit writing, building compliance inspections and safety observations.This person will align to the Central Maintenance Services CMS department ensuring all work activities performed at TXO are executed within the site s standards and expectations.**Primary Responsibilities:**Assigns job resources Reports the progress of the daily work to enable adjustments to the daily work schedule when needed Reviews job package and prepares to do the task Assist the person doing the work in the identification whether the job can be carried out.If the job cannot be carried out, assign other work to the person doing the work In case that equipment is not prepared for maintenance reassign person doing the work to the next job.Initiate the work permit procedure.Check if all scheduled job sequences have been completed.Return equipment to operations.Check if all the work for the job is done including the paperwork.Close work order.Reviews work status with service providers and originators and adjusts schedule as required Assists in allocation of resources for resource leveraging. Performs the role of SPUFP Shift Procedure Use Focal Point for Maintenance activity. Please refer to the SPUFP document contained in the document library.**For Priority Work:** Acts as a Planner and follows the Planner Responsibilities. Ensures jobs, and job plans when planning/executing a job, adhere to EH&S Standards and local regulations/standards that are legally required or more stringent than EH&S Standards For Unplanned and Planned Work.Prior to assigning work, reviews the job package to ensure it contains the correct procedure or validates that the task is on the exemption list.When the job is complete, reviews job package, which contains Procedures / Checklist / Equipment History Form, to ensure they have been filled out correctly.Removes any forms that should be kept with other plant files.Coach craftsperson when completed procedures/checklists/equipment repair forms are not filled out correctly.As part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
