Video Teleconferencing SME_

Program Description: This is a contract to provide design and engineering services needed to implement structured network cabling installations/upgrades to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Finance and Facilities Division (FFD) Technology Deployment Unit (TDU).Responsibilities:+ With guidance from an FBI VTC project manager, the VTC SME shall be responsible for capturing the requirements for VTC systems and producing the associated room layout and engineering drawings in CAD.+ Shall provide designs for new VTC requirements. Each of these designs are to include engineering CAD drawings, room specific layouts including environmental details, and unique equipment lists. Equipment to be used on these designs are only to come from an approved master list of materials that will be provided by the government.+ Shall review design concepts from the Government’s VTC program for accuracy.+ Shall provide an independent assessment of how the FBI’s VTC design process is being implemented and recommends improvements based on industry standards.+ As directed by the Government, contractor is responsible for attending technical meetings during the requirement gathering phases and at key milestone dates during network cabling installation with key stakeholders in FBI technical programs on a per project basis.+ As directed by the Government, contractor will conduct periodic inspections of cabling installation progress at specific locations and provide reports report to the Government point of contact as identified by COR or their designated representative.+ As directed by the Government, contractor is responsible for attending technical meetings during the requirement gathering phases and at key milestone dates during VTC installation with key stakeholders in FBI technical programs on a per-project basis.RequirementsYears of Experience: 7+ years of experienceRequired Skills:+ Shall be located at the contractor facility with key personnel on a full-time basis unless directed to attend meetings at FBIHQ or travel for project management purposes by the COR.+ Active Top-Secret Clearance transferable to the FBI.+ Minimum of seven (7) years of documented design experience with VTC systems.+ BICSI certified RCDD, focusing on structured network cabling designs.+ Minimum of five (5) years of documented CAD experience+ CAD certified.+ Experience in Microsoft Office products.+ Proficient in tracking and reporting project costs and schedules.Preferred Skills· NoneBenefitsSES provides a competitive salary and the following benefits:+ Medical+ Dental+ Vision+ AD&D+ STD+ LTD+ Company paid Life Insurance+ 401k with employer contribution+ Paid Time Off
