**Senior Media & Communications Consultant (Web Content)****Up to $71.13/hour**Kelly Government Solutions is participating in a U.S. federal government bid proposal for a contract with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) office of Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) Immediate Office (IO). We are hiring for this role contingent on winning the bid for the contract. Successful candidates will work as a subcontractor for Kelly Services for approximately a year and the assignment could be extended.**Duties & Responsibilities:**+ The contractor shall provide gap analysis for Section 508 compliance to develop an inventory of existing software applications and operating systems, related documentation, software help-based media, and training materials, and plan for correction and implementation.+ The contractor shall improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Section 508 planning, design, development, and testing activities throughout the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).+ The contractor shall consult on the interpretation of 508 policy and applicable specific guidelines such as but not limited to WCAG 2.0.+ The contractor shall develop and maintain a library of guidance for creating accessible products, including the development of learning modules, as needed.+ The contractor shall provide Section 508 training for agency staff and contractors (virtual and onsite) across multiple applications.+ The contractor shall develop accessible wireframes and document templates.+ The contractor shall provide procurement support related to Section 508 compliance for contractor-developed, assistive technology and Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) products.+ The contractor shall provide interpretation consultation of legal requirements and impact of Section 508 compliance standards and strategic planning support.+ The contractor shall provide general Section 508 consultation expertise.+ The contractor shall remediate document content to comply with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and WCAG 2.0 standards commiserate with Federal, HHS, and ASPR 508 policies including Microsoft Office products, and PDF content.**Required:**+ The contractor shall possess strong web content writing and editing skills; AP style preferred.+ Attention to detail in writing, editing, and correct use of grammar.+ The contractor shall possess the ability to organize, coordinate, and deliver multiple complex projects/priorities on a pre-determined schedule.+ The contractor shall possess relevant, hands-on SharePoint content management experience; SharePoint 2016 or higher preferred.+ The contractor shall possess experience with working in Drupal version 10 or higher.+ The contractor shall possess professional and relevant experience with Adobe Photoshop and HTML 5.+ The contractor shall possess familiarity with and the ability to implement WCAG 2.0 and Section 508 requirements.**Preferred:**Experience with CSS, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe DC, and Adobe Dreamweaver.**What happens next:**Once you apply, you’ll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
