To that end, our Inventory Art Handlers are responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and integrity of all works, artifacts, and collections from museums across the world, regional art galleries, and private venues while in the care of Crozier Fine Arts. Also, safely operates tools and machinery**+ **Ensuring the safe handling of artworks for packing/crating in the warehouse**+ **Load/unload trucks to ensure safe transit of all items**+ **Assist in other Crozier** **departments and warehouses** **as needed****​****QUALIFICATIONS:**+ **2 Year Previous Experience with Art Collections, Art Inventory or Art Handling with Gallery, Museum, or Commercial Arts Company or 2 Year Degree in Art (ie Studio Art, Fine Art, Art History or related field)**+ **Understand industry-standard techniques and materials for packing, crating, and installing** **techniques/materials**+ **_Skills -_** **E** **ffective communication with clients/management/coworkers; s** **trong attention to detail; discretion; follow-through; team player** ; **self-motivated; and able to work well under pressure**+ **Ability to operate various tools and equipment such as pallet jacks, j-bars, and dollies. Forklift certification not required, but beneficial.**+ **_Physical Requirements -_** **lifting, moving, heavy objects (in excess of 75 lbs), bending, kneeling, crouching, etc. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift a min. of 50lbs on their own.****Sound like you?
