To that end, our Freelance Art Inventory Specialists are responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and integrity of all works, artifacts, and collections from museums across the world, regional art galleries, and private venues while in the care of Crozier Fine Arts. In addition to physical requirements, this role also provides knowledge and a keen eye during inventory and warehouse projects.****WHAT WE OFFER**+ **Pay: $20.00-25.00/hr**+ **Schedule: Flexible Scheduling Weekly and Monthly**+ **Location: Lanham, MD 20706****Responsibilities:**+ **Tracking/scanning, recording, and reporting on all inventory new and existing within the warehouse**+ **Handle and move packaged/unpackaged as well as wrap and pack artifacts, art, furniture with the designated techniques, materials and items.**+ **Conduct inspection reports for various types of objects and notifying management of any abnormalities**+ **Operating inventory scanning equipment**+ **Complete daily forms, and document status and scope of work in progress**+ **Organize and maintain operational tools and materials**+ **Ensures warehouse cleanliness, checks materials and equipment to ensure proper operation****Qualifications:**+ **1-2 years of Art/Artifact Handling in Warehouse, Gallery, Museum or Commercial Art Company experience**+ **Minimum: High School Diploma, or Associates Degree in Art**+ **Prior experience conducting condition reports on various types of art and artifacts is a benefit, but not required**+ **Industry knowledge of standard packing, crating, and installation techniques and materials**+ **Technological Knowledge of AIMS, Google Suite, Scanning Devices and/or Inventory Software is preferred**+ **Detail oriented, thorough, organized, team player, effective/appropriate communication, accurate and productive in work**+ **Lift and move heavy objects (in excess of 75 lbs), bend, kneel, crouch, stand****Sound like you?
