Develops and implements effective communication strategies that strengthen brand awareness and convey impact. Produces and distributes high-quality content that engages various target audiences and builds brand recognition. Creates informative and compelling content and develops media opportunities to share the company’s brand, services, impact and people. This includes traditional media and social media engagement with content to inspire, inform, and captivate internal and external audiences. Understands and maintains working knowledge of communications trends, tactics and platforms. Manages project timelines and collaborates with subject matter experts and other creative professionals to plan and create content. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following, as well as other duties that may be assigned. · Develop effective internal and external materials in support of the company’s goals · Produce clearly written and engaging communications including presentations, emails, web copy, press releases, press kits, sales tools and social media posts · Tailor communications based on the topic and audience for greatest impact · Develop content to showcase various areas within the company (i.e. people/human interest stories, product highlights, service capabilities, company news, etc.) · Maintain and update existing materials to ensure they are current and align with brand standards · Promote communications and marketing materials through appropriate social channels · Create engaging text, image and video content for social media and oversee social media accounts’ layout and postings · Ensure materials are informative, timely, visually appealing, engaging and on-brand · Design posts and media plans to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products and projects · Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness · Facilitate media engagement (social and traditional), perform media outreach and respond to media inquiries to achieve brand placement in publications · Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics · Monitor press and social media activity and inquiries to sustain a responsive, dynamic presence · Develop reports to track and analyze traffic, impressions and reach Minimum Qualifications: To perform the job successfully, the individual must have the following minimum qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: · Excellent written and verbal communications skills · Experience writing for print, email, web and social media · Proficient in corporate communications, public relations and social media usage · Strong copy writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail · Familiarity with communicating both internally and externally · Experience researching media trends, tactics and audiences · Exceptional at communication and building relationships · Knowledge of social media platforms and functionality · Understanding of web traffic data and media analytics · Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively · Ability to multitask and prioritize · Organized with excellent time management Education and Experience: · Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing or related field · 3-5 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations or similar Competencies: To perform the job successfully, the individual should demonstrate the following competencies (behaviors and qualities that enable one do something successfully and efficiently).
