This position offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in videography, photography and content creation within an academic environment dedicated to public health and healthcare education.Duties Include:Videography/Photography:+ Capture high-quality photo & video footage of college events, student activities and other significant moments+ Edit video content to produce polished and professional videos for use on the college’s social media+ Assist in creating promotional videos to attract prospective students and showcase the college's achievementsSocial Media:+ Assist the Social Media Manager in planning, creating and scheduling content for the college’s social media accounts+ Brainstorm social media videos based on recent trends and findingsContent Creation:+ Develop and design engaging visual content, including photos, graphics and videos+ Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team to align social media content with the college's branding and messagingEvent Coverage:+ Provide coverage of college events and activities on social media+ Document key moments and create recap videos to highlight the success of events and programsExpected Salary:$15.00 per hourMinimum Requirements:Must be registered as a student, half time or more, at the University of Florida.
