**Overview**The BIM Designer II is responsible for preparing designs, layouts, drawings, and bills of material for maintenance and facility improvement projects. We are seeking dedicated individuals to join us as full-time, on-site team members at our new, state-of-the-art factory located in the thriving city of DeSoto, Kansas.**Essential Duties:**+ Prepare designs, layouts, drawings, and bills of material for major maintenance, facility improvements, and other projects.+ Interpret regulatory codes for compliance (local, state, and federal)+ Assists in the design of equipment models to be used in federated BIM model, including process, HVAC, and electrical connections.+ Develops new concepts for future manufacturing equipment lines.+ Coordinate design of equipment and addresses clashes between machines, process connections, and facility infrastructure.+ Perform site survey to assess equipment conditions, identify physical location for facility related equipment, etc.+ Meet both internal and external customer requirements utilizing the SQCDP principle.+ Present project status updates in department meetings+ Develop conceptual designs for equipment and system expansion and/or upgrades.+ Maintain current “as-built” drawings and files for all facility structures, and systems, equipment.
