Find out more atwww.TransdevNA.comor watch an overview video ate/ilO5cv0G4mQWe’re Hiring for a Shop Service Writer / Dispatcher in Augusta / Richmond County GATransdev is proud to offer:+ Attractive benefits package, including 401(k) with company contribution, medical, dental and vision.+ Paid time off & vacation.+ Hourly pay of $18 to $22 depending on experienceResponsibilities:+ Schedules and administers fleet maintenance, Communicates availability of vehicles for service with the General Managerand the customer's personnel.+ Monitors maintenance operations. Plans and distributes the work to the technicians as appropriate to maintain shop workflow.+ Ensures compliance on a day-to-day basis with State, Federal and Company requirements.+ Works closely with location management providing status of maintenance and repair of vehicles at shop.+ Reviews repair orders.+ Schedules subcontract vendor repair work.+ May arrange services for building and ground keeping.+ Identifies and recommends actions to improve operating efficiency.+ Completes special projects as assigned.Requirements:+ High School Diploma or GED+ Previous automotive experience preferred+ Excellent verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills.+ Problem solving and analytical skills.+ Computer literateThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
