Your expertise will ensure that these products adhere to industry standards and best practices. Not only will you contribute to vital hardware design documentation, but you'll also actively participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and product validation activities to guarantee that our products meet all requirements. Your valuable feedback and input will be crucial in maximizing design quality and efficiency as you collaborate with a dynamic group of cross-functional teams, including product management, design, development, manufacturing, and customer support.Day to Day Responsibilities of our Hardware Engineers Include:+ Collaborate with Product Management to define product hardware requirements, including architectures, component selection and cost estimates.+ Capture schematics, produce PCB layouts and produce accurate manufacturing documentation for the circuit card assemblies of hardware products.+ Collaborate on definition of test requirements and test plans for both circuit card assemblies and the products that contain them.+ Perform validation of circuit card assemblies and wiring of products.+ Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of hardware defects and implement design updates with countermeasures to minimize or eliminate future occurrences of defects.+ Collaborate with team members and vendors on all the details necessary to get circuit card designs from quotation to mass production.+ Collaborate with cross-functional team to develop and maintain project schedules for hardware development.+ Stay up to date with the latest advancements in hardware design and testing methodologies and apply them to improve the overall quality and competitiveness of our products.RequirementsRequirements:+ Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.+ 3+ years of demonstrable experience as a hardware engineer.+ Strong knowledge in designing and debugging digital and analog circuits.+ Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes.+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail and precision.+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Preferred Skills and Knowledge:+ Fluency in Altium Designer, LTSpice.+ Proficiency in programming languages, like C/C++ and/or Verilog/VHDL.+ Proficiency in Linux.+ Knowledge of TI C2000 processors, FPGAs, ARM processors+ Knowledge of hardware EMC regulatory requirements and design techniques for compliance regulations, such as FCC and CE.+ Knowledge of thermal issues in electronics design and their management.+ Strong communication, teamwork, and project management skills.+ Deep knowledge of musical and audio engineering concepts.BenefitsinMusic USA offers an excellent Total Rewards package that includes generous hybrid work schedule, holiday and summer hours, medical benefits available within your first 30 days, 401k plans with company match, and employee discounts on inMusic products.inMusic celebrates diversity.
