No experience needed.What does a UX Researcher do?The UX Research Apprentice will work with their team to execute a variety of user research focused testing, and will solicit feedback on the user experience of digital products. They will work closely with the Lead UX Designer to plan and implement testing strategies, such as usability tests, focus groups, and surveys.Responsibilities include:Conduct usability tests across various stages of product development.Collaborate with the Lead UX Designer to ensure optimal user experience.Analyze, report, and present test findings to the team.Implement feedback mechanisms and strategies to gather user feedback.Stay updated with the latest usability testing tools and methodologies.Advocate for user needs and drive improvements based on usability findings and best practices.How does the Apprentice program work?During your apprenticeship with Catalyte, you will develop and hone your foundational skills in UX Research and contribute to a product team to deliver a first-rate user experience. The apprenticeship is divided into the training phase and the deployment phase. During the training phase you will acquire the fundamental skills necessary for the role of UX Researcher, in a 8-week, full-time, project-based training program. Upon completion of the training phase you will be deployed to a client partner where you will work as a UX Researcher contributing to the client team's success and building your skills. The deployment period lasts approximately 12 months, at which point there may be an opportunity to become a full-time employee with the client.QualificationsBe at least 18 years oldHave a high school diploma (10th grade or better ability in reading + math)Basic proficiency using a computer and the internetBe a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S. for 30 continuous months.
