As a result, we are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Junior Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our exceptional team (as full-time, fully benefited Vitalief employee) to support our mission and our clients’ mission.Reasons to work for Vitalief:+ You can actively contribute to our clients’ mission of advancing scientific discoveries that have the potential to change patients' lives for the better.+ Our PEOPLE FIRST culture prioritizes personal and professional growth for all Vitalief employees.+ We give everyone a seat at the table – we encourage innovation.+ Life/work balance that includes 20 PTO (Paid Time Off) days plus 9 paid Holidays annually.+ Other benefits include Company paid life insurance and short / long term disability coverage; 401K retirement program; Robust healthcare plans to choose from.Salary Range: 35k to 40k yearly salaryWork Location: Starting off 5 day on-site in New Brunswick, NJ with a move to a hybrid model; 3 days on site, 2 days remote.Responsibilities:+ Leading the development and implementation of the vision, strategy, and marketing campaigns to create a distinct positioning and identity, to attract the best students, motivate alumni and donors, and recruit high-quality faculty and staff.+ Representing and promoting client while increasing their visibility and supporting their mission, vision, and goals.+ Coordinating their public profiles and relationships with key audiences through targeted outreach and strategic Institute-wide communications plans.+ Leading the social media marketing efforts including, but not limited to, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms and manages these efforts via Constant Contact and other tracking databases. This includes list maintenance, periodical analytic reporting development, and distribution of emails via automation and manual push.+ Serving as the primary liaison to Rutgers Communication and Marketing team, as well as outside media and is responsible for building relationships across traditional and new media, both in NJ and nationally, to increase awareness of and engagement with both NJ ACTS and RITMS research, education, and community resources.+ Responsible for regular communication and collaboration with faculty and researchers to gather required information (e.g., papers, grants, prizes, other timely information) to ensure accuracy and relevance of internal and external communications.+ Providing website administration, including content updates and building of new pages and programs as needed, serving as the initial point of contact for communications that come in via the website.+ Responsible for creating monthly newsletter and annual report.+ Working with a variety of tools including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, or other basic photo editing tools, CiviCRM, Google Docs, WordPress, social media platforms such as Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc. Must also know how to use social media management tools like Hootsuite and Buffer.Required Skills:+ Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field+ 1 year of experience working in Marketing. Healthcare marketing preferred.+ Experience in developing and implementing traditional, as well as digital and social media research-based marketing campaigns+ Experience with variety of marketing tools including, but not limited to, WordPress, social media platforms, etc.+ Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to form cross functional leadership partnerships to accomplish goals.+ Organizational and time management skills. Collaborative, energetic, team-oriented professional who is comfortable with change.+ Capable of independent decision-making, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment working on multiple projects concurrently.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Standing, sitting, walking, visual perception, talking and hearing.
