Social Science and Humanities Librarian_

The Social Science and Humanities Librarian will serve as the liaison to select departments and programs based in the College of Arts and Sciences and the history department in the Maxwell School, ensuring that Libraries’ collections and services support the academic and research needs of students and faculty in those units. The Social Science and Humanities Librarian provides essential services, including research assistance, information literacy instruction, and collection development, and serves as the Libraries’ point of contact for the assigned areas. As a member of the Collections Team within the Department of Research and Scholarship, the Social Science and Humanities Librarian will promote the Libraries’ collections in conjunction with campus and world events, seek to fill gaps in the Libraries’ collection, and improve the representation of diverse voices in the collection, as outlined in the Libraries’ strategic plan.SU Libraries / Library
