Our Infrastructure, Transformation, and Global Service Deliveryteams provide services that are secure, stable, and add value to the business.**About our opportunity,** Iron Mountain is seeking a Technical Writer to join our fabulous team. You will work with Engineering, UX, QA and Product Management to document product features and create instructional content to support adoption and learning. This position will focus on the Iron Mountain CSP platforms - Iron Mountain InSight & enVision, our content management platforms hosting customer content in over 50 countries. Providing intelligent document processing resulting in actionable business insights and predictive analytics through Machine Learning (ML)-based classification of a company’s physical and digital information, which adds structure, context and meta-data to information to make it more usable. The resulting enriched content enables enhanced automated governance and workflows for our customers.**Responsibilities**+ Write technical documentation such as API reference manuals, user guides, implementation guides, developer guides, and more for external and internal customer, user, developer and implementation audiences.+ Write release notes and FAQs.+ Create product manuals with screenshots, tutorials, and training videos.+ Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and user guides.+ Disseminate technical information in easy-to-understand language for technical and non-technical audiences.+ Convert complex documentation to easy language for multiple audiences.+ Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities, and identifying gaps.+ Upload and maintain documentation on collaboration sites.+ Proof-read and edit documents submitted by the team.**Minimum experience:**+ Bachelor's degree in Media, Communications, English or related field or equivalent practical experience.+ 5+ years of experience creating content for an end user, implementation or developer audience.+ Background in Machine Learning, AI and/or RPA technologies.+ Demonstrable experience and understanding of Cloud computing including Google Cloud Platform, AWS, and/or Azure.+ Good working knowledge of GSuite, specifically Google documents and online help authoring tools such as Paligo; experience in Walk Me would be advantageous.+ Experience working with Engineering, UX, QA and Product Management teams.+ Demonstrable experience writing product implementation guides and user manuals, as well as experience with cutting-edge applications and tools.**Preferred qualifications:**+ Experience writing developer-facing documentation.+ Experience writing external customer-facing documentation.+ Knowledge of Walk Me, Paligo.+ Experience documenting APIs in Python, Java, etc.+ Knowledge of machine learning (ML), ML data preparation techniques, and/or machine learning models.+ Knowledge of server-oriented architectures and web platform applications with the ability to interact with engineers with APIs and REST services topics.+ Experience with agile tools such as Atlassian JIRA.+ Knowledge of code repositories such as GitHub.+ Strong communication & collaboration skills.+ Strong research and analytical skills.+ Ability to undertake multiple projects and deliver on tight deadlines.**\#LI-Remote**Category: TechnologyIron Mountain is a global leader in storage and information management services trusted by more than 225,000 organizations in 60 countries.
