Epidemiologist I- Full time - Research,Design & Analysis_

GENERAL SUMMARY:+ Under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI), Co-PI, or Co-I coordinates epidemiologic studies.+ Assists in the design and planning of studies, oversees database development and management, and aids in the analysis of data.+ Responsible for various tasks associated with the recruitment of study subjects and acquisition of data for biomedical studies.+ Trains and oversees study personnel.+ May be expected to present an abstract at a national scientific meeting.+ Expected to participate in journal clubs and keep current with epidemiological literature and methods.+ May assist Investigators in development of abstracts, posters and manuscripts.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :+ Master's degree required.+ Master's degree in Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology or related field preferred.+ Literacy in computer software programs used for data management and analysis.Preferred Skills+ Research Experience strongly preferredAdditional Information+ Organization: Henry Ford Medical Group+ Department: Research Design and Analysis+ Shift: Rotating+ Union Code: Not ApplicableAdditional DetailsThis posting represents the major duties, responsibilities, and authorities of this job, and is not intended to be a complete list of all tasks and functions.
