This role requires a thorough understanding of the DCWF 011 Telecommunications Tech framework, adherence to industry standards, and strict compliance with DOD 8140 requirements. The candidate must possess a Secret Clearance and demonstrate proficiency in managing and securing communication systems within a classified environment.Key Responsibilities:+ Installation & Maintenance:+ Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications equipment, including routers, switches, cables, and related hardware.+ Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on all telecommunications systems to ensure uninterrupted service.+ Technical Support:+ Provide technical support for troubleshooting and resolving telecommunications issues.+ Diagnose and repair hardware and software malfunctions in telecommunications systems.+ System Upgrades:+ Implement system upgrades and modifications to enhance performance and security.+ Ensure all telecommunications systems comply with the latest DOD 8140 standards and guidelines.+ Documentation & Reporting:+ Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.+ Prepare and submit reports on system performance, security incidents, and maintenance logs.+ Security Compliance:+ Ensure all telecommunications systems are compliant with DOD 8140 and other relevant security regulations.+ Monitor systems for potential security threats and implement measures to mitigate risks.+ Team Collaboration:+ Collaborate with other IT and security teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of telecommunications systems.+ Provide guidance and support to junior technicians and other team members as needed.Qualifications:+ Education & Certification:+ High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in telecommunications or a related field preferred.+ Relevant certifications in telecommunications or information technology.+ Must comply with DOD 8140 requirements.+ Experience:+ Minimum of 4 years of experience in telecommunications, with a focus on installation and maintenance.+ Experience working in a classified environment and handling secure communications.+ Skills & Abilities:+ Proficient in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of telecommunications equipment.+ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Additional Requirements:+ Must possess and maintain a Secret Clearance.+ Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and at heights.+ Willingness to travel as needed to support telecommunications infrastructure.Oneida Technical Solutions, LLC. is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information or any other protected characteristic under applicable law.Please be aware - all roles require a 5-panel Hair Follicle Drug test
