Together, we’ll continue to create and deliver content that reflects the current and ever-changing face of the world.This Business Solutions Manager role is a key member of the Technical Operations organization and focuses on building and supporting music rights platforms that aligns with the day-to-day music operations at NBCUniversal. This individual partners with stakeholders across all studio and legal functions to modernize music and rights applications while channeling the voice- of-the-customer for their technical business needs.

This role requires strong knowledge across modern technology stacks with proven experience of implementing rights and/or music tools across a diverse ecosystem of legacy and SAAS products.REQUIREMENTS:+ Develop and maintain strong relationships with Studio business teams. Learn and understand how our content is created, marketed and distributed and the underlying rights management needs to support the content workflow.+ Be the subject matter expert on the digital music rights platform and related tools to support the business administrative functions from music clearances, contracting, publishing and cue sheet management.+ Drive technology and process improvements by linking enhancements to the larger strategic company goals.+ Learn the KPIs that drive the business and identify opportunities to improve their decision-making process and enhance their analytics capabilities.+ Engage with business stakeholders to define and prioritize new project requests. Lead discovery and design sessions, documenting functional requirements and technical specifications.+ Collaborate with enterprise technology teams to create reporting solutions and advanced analytics products that enable business insights.+ Provide oversight to technical teams, reviewing designs and ensuring deliverables meet business requirements.+ Stay relavent on new technologies across cloud-based systems and enterprise solutions, understand current industry standards and how technology can support and enhance efficiencies.+ Minimum 8 years of experience developing and maintaining medium to large-scale implementations ranging from CRM, Rights Management and Music systems with at least 4 years in a lead role+ Minimum 6 years of experience in a business solutions or product role that engages directly with business stakeholders+ Strong presentation and analytical skills to gather input from multiple sources and articulate technical recommendations that drive key architecture and business decisions+ Understanding of Cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and experience with integrating into traditional hosting models+ Working knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI, MicroStrategy, or Tableau+ Enjoys working in a collaborative team environment with the ability to leverage resources and skillsets across various functional and technical domains+ Understanding of IT project management methodologies and SDLC processes, such as Agile Scrum and Waterfall+ Excellent written, oral, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the comfort to communicate with all levels of the organization+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; or equivalent experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:+ Experience with Media & Entertainment industry and/or distribution of packaged media+ Enjoys learning new technologies and being hands-on with developing and implement solutions+ Experience with AI or machine learning platforms+ Ability to effectively collaborate with teams across multiple territories and time zonesAdditional Requirements:Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
