Executive Director, U.S. Oncology Marketing, New Asset/ Alliance.

This alliance is focused on the commercialization of a novel individualized neoantigen therapy, currently in Phase III clinical development in multiple tumor types.We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to lead the U.S. Oncology Marketing Team and to serve as the U.S. representative to the alliance commercialization committee. This role is responsible for leading marketing and cross-functional teams within our company, with support from Alliance company, to set the vision, objectives, priorities, and tactical plans for successful commercialization (pre-launch, launch, and in-line), and for partnering with all support and execution teams in U.S. Oncology for implementation of the alliance agreed to Commercialization Plan. This position requires strong marketing and commercial leadership, the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, and a good understanding of P&L management.This position will be based in Upper Gwynedd, PA and will report to the Associate Vice President, U.S. Oncology Marketing, Skin and GI/MSI-H Cancers.The commercial planning and marketing of V940 is unlike any other product on the market at this time. V940 is being commercialized by our company in partnership with Alliance company through a co-promotional arrangement, and thus carrying the nuances of an alliance as well as the unique product specific requirements. V940 is a product where the manufacturing

process

is the product, and each patient will receive a unique, individualized version of the therapy.The marketing strategy and plans of V940 must account for an end-to-end seamless customer journey beginning with appropriate patient identification and acquisition of a patient tumor and blood sample, genetic sequencing of the samples, customized manufacturing of the individualized therapy and subsequent delivery back to the health care provider for administration to the patient. Developing and implementing the steps to enable this journey to flow optimally will require an extraordinary level of integrated planning and execution.V940 is expected to have an initial launch in melanoma, and is being investigated for future indications in NSCLC, CSCC, RCC, and UC.Desired skills and experiences the successful candidate will need:Strong marketing and commercial leadership experience with a good understanding of P&L managementAbility to work in “white space” and successfully shape new approaches with cross-functional teamsExperience managing an alliance or ability to come up to speed quickly with leading in an alliance structureExperience in developing commercialization strategies for cell therapies or similar medicines involving complex logistics and patient-specific manufacturing and distributionAbility to manage effectively in multi-layered leadership structures and to lead across complex cross-functional teamsStrong balance of strategic thinking and executionHigh emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, including grace under pressure and adaptability to other organizational cultures and ways of workingExperience in building and nurturing large high-performing teams and practicing situational leadershipAbility to navigate and drive change in the business and teamsStrong background in executing and succeeding in competitive settingsExperience with lifecycle management strategies and resourcing dynamicsExperience in marketing forecasting for oncology products, including market size, class, and brand shares for various indications, competitors, and market eventsUnderstanding of the role of precision medicine in oncology, including testing and genetic sequencing processesBudget management and optimization of resources to maximize return on investment and channel mix.Lead and coordinate all marketing activities for new product (V940) in collaboration with alliance partnerLead integrated launch planning activities across broad set of cross-functional areas including global marketing, OCAR, IAM, supply chain and distribution, precision medicine, COLT, legal and compliance.Serve as primary internal decision point on commercialization choicesEnsure appropriate implementation of Co-Promotion Agreement (CPA) with Alliance companyLead US forecasting for V940 in partnership with global marketing, finance, and global forecastingPresent updates to senior leadership and responses for IR as neededBuild marketing team for new asset with multiple indications in Phase III clinical trials.Education Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree requiredMaster’s degree preferredRequired Experience and Skills:Minimum of 10 years pharmaceutical business experience, including marketing, people management in marketing and customer facing team(s)Demonstrated leadership in areas of significant business responsibility (revenue, strategy, etc.)Proficient understanding of oncology marketExperience leading and prioritizing in complex, fast-paced environmentStrong collaboration skillsExcellent communication skills including ability to present clearly to executive level audiencesStrong business and financial acumenStrong compliance IQTravel:

Requires approximately 25% travel, including some weekends.
