We strongly encourage applicants whose values align with our institutional values, as outlined in our Strategic Plan.Job Summary Responsible for managing the installation of audio visual (AV) systems to comply with project specifications and Institute standards, and to ensure that a completed system is delivered to the customer. Assignments are typically complex, large scale projects related to design/project management of AV technology solutions in new building construction or building space renovation projects.Responsibilities
Supervise personnel and activities related to the audio visual design on project site.Work with the customer to acquire a thorough understanding of project requirements and objectives.Participate or facilitate internal project kick-off meetings with key participants.Coordinate all activities associated with audio visual project execution.Create and manage the schedule for all assigned projects and provide those schedules to management.Manage and monitor the labor expenditures of integration and installation personnel.Work with approved vendors and qualified subcontractors to solicit quotes.Generate and/or respond to construction communications.Proactively manage the change order process.Perform other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Required Experience:
Six to eight years of job related experience.Preferred Qualifications
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
