The Producer, Visualization supports the Torchlight Production team who manages a multidisciplinary artistic development studio. Day to day involvement with the development of art assets for visualization, virtual production, and VFX workflows. Keeping the crew informed, efficient, satiated, happy, and on track are essential aspects of this role.Job Description+ Organize and schedule production meetings, demos, and internal meetings. Keeping track of meetings and reschedules in a timely manner.+ Answer phone calls including checking messages, rolling calls, keeping phone logs, and prioritizing call backs. Same requirements but for the email paradigm.+ Arrange the production reports, call-sheets and distribute them to appropriate individuals.+ Create trusting and open relationships with productions and ensure clients working in the Torchlight space are supported.+ Keep Torchlight supervisor and Senior Producer informed by providing accurate and timely information regarding the appropriate matters.+ Direct people internally and externally to the correct department head to get the correct information needed.+ Follow up on issues as they occur to ensure they are completed, ranging from ensuring approvals are made to assuring that other departments have completed reports, or other actions necessary for Production Administration to receive.+ Organize paperwork, storyboards, script notes, artwork, and video files that are received so that they are easily retrievable and referenceable.+ Attend production meetings and take notes. Revise and validate notes prior to distribution.+ Accurate data entry in production tracking software+ Maintain organized production files within a specific directory structure. Ensure relevant storyboards, animatics, or source material are displayed and current.+ Coordinate travel for production.+ Step in to help operate virtual cinematography equipment, keep shot tracking notes, and deliver video files at the end of shoots.+ Manage and complete expense reports.+ Order office supplies, craft service, and working lunches for the department.+ Special projects as needed.Requirements:+ Must have at least 1+ years in a production environment (animation, real-time, or VFX preferred).+ Highly organized, resourceful, and dependable with excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.+ Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a voluminous deadline-oriented department. Must be willing to take and follow directions.+ Able to work independently and set appropriate priorities.+ Ability to take direction when needed and take the initiative where applicable.+ Trustworthy and ability to maintain an elevated level of discretion.+ Bachelor's degree preferred.+ Computer and technology literate – familiarity with Mac/PC operating systems, Word, Excel, and Gmail, Shotgrid (a plus)Sony Pictures Entertainment is an equal opportunity employer.
