Creative Services Intern

The Creative Services Intern at Skylark Camp is a dynamic and pivotal role, primarily focused on supporting the creation, management, and organization of various creative content. This position acts as a key support to the Director of Communications. The internship is a paid, part-time role with an expected end date of May 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

Design marketing printed collateral such as flyers, brochures, posters, and donor gifts to promote Skylark Camps and its mission.

Create engaging graphics and slides to be used for digital marketing efforts.

Collaborate with the team to design branded merchandise for camper families, staff, partners, and supporters.

Manage vendor relationships for purchasing and producing branded merchandise and collateral.

Execute the creative direction and posting schedule for the Skylark Staff Instagram account.

Ensure all designs adhere to Skylark's established brand guidelines for consistency.

Assist with other graphic design & collateral needs as they arise to support marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

Pursuing a degree in marketing, graphic design, or a related field.

Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, design skills, and attention to detail.

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator & InDesign.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Passion for creating compelling visual content that resonates with target audiences.

Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices for content creation and engagement.

Ability to work in person at our Plano office during core hours (9 am - 4 pm) for at least two days a week.

Ability to work 25 hours per week.
