Keeler & Co., a high-end residential and hospitality design firm with offices in Boston, MA and Seal Harbor, ME, is looking for a proactive, detail oriented, curious and motivated Assistant/Associate Designer to join our dynamic and nimble team. With projects from Maine to Florida, Keeler & Co. cares deeply about the places and the spaces that our clients choose to call home. Using a deliberate approach to design and a layered approach to decorating, we create homes and experiences that are personalized and bespoke - resonating intimately with those who inhabit and visit them.We are looking for the perfect person to round out our talented, dedicated and dynamic team. If this sounds like you, we look forward to hearing from you!Role & ResponsibilitiesWork directly with our Founder and Principal Designer and Interior Designer and assist with multiple projects simultaneously throughout the design processEngage with and manage vendor communication throughout projectsCreate design plans and architectural drawings in AutoCAD including floor plans, elevations, custom cabinetry, and moreDevise design presentations, proposals, invoices, and purchase ordersSource FF&A with guidanceAssist with preparation and participate in installations, as well as photography shoots.EligibilityMinimum of a Bachelor's Degree in an Interior Design focused major or creative course of studyMinimum of 2+ years in the interior design fieldProficient in AutoCAD, Adobe creative suite, Google Suite, ExcelKnowledge of design management software (Ivy preferred)Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at various stage simultaneously with a strong attention to detailUnderstands the importance of organization and processesStrong communication skills and professional demeanorUnderstanding of code, materials, and sourcingTravel between two offices and clients is requiredThe office is dog friendly.
