Position Summary:

The VP, Marketing will lead branding and marketing activity across all of RedSail, supporting sales activity for multiple business units and products. The VP of Marketing should:Take a data-driven approach to define marketing activities, prioritize projects, and allocate resourcesDevelop a strong partnership with sales teams across the organization and maintain a sense of ownership of sales resultsPresent and partner with the executive leadership teamDevelop, track, and refine marketing strategies for novel pharmaceutical products in development (pipeline products) associated with established and emerging pharmaceutical companies.Lead successful marketing campaigns for both Small-Medium Business sales and Enterprise salesDevelop and maintain a marketing strategy for pharma and pharmacyManage, measure, and evolve ongoing marketing activities, including tradeshows, customer conferences, podcasts, newsletters, website development, SEO, and email marketingDefine the brand strategy across the company and products and harmonize and position existing brandsParticipate in annual business planning and define marketing needs to drive overall business goalsLead and coach a team of 15-20 FTEsAs part of these activities, the VP, Marketing will be responsible for collaborating with senior leaders across the company. A successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to drive sales through marketing activity and will have experience with Pharma (either as an employee or vendor). Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Computer Skills

Has advanced basic computer job skills including logging on to systems, ability to communicate by email, ability to compose documents, enter database information, create presentations, download forms, and preserve/backup important data. Must possess intermediate level skill in Microsoft Office.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
