We’re on the lookout for a skilled Pathfinder Dungeon Designer to join our team as a 1099 contractor. If you’re passionate about designing intricate dungeons, developing rich backstories, and creating memorable characters, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Dungeon Design:
Develop detailed and engaging dungeon maps for Pathfinder First Edition. Your designs should challenge players and enhance the overall storytelling experience. Ensure maps are both visually compelling and functional for gameplay.
Backstory Development:
Create captivating backstories for dungeons, regions, and key locations. Build lore and history that enrich the game world and engage players.
Character Creation:
Design diverse and intriguing characters, including NPCs and antagonists. Craft detailed profiles that include personality traits, motivations, and potential plot hooks to drive the narrative.
Playtesting and Revision:
Test your designs in gameplay scenarios, gather feedback, and revise your work to ensure balance, coherence, and player engagement.
Documentation:
Prepare and organize thorough documentation for all created content, ensuring clarity and ease of use for game masters and players.
Qualifications:• Proven experience in tabletop RPG design, specifically with Pathfinder First Edition.• Strong understanding of Pathfinder mechanics, storytelling, and game balance.• Proficiency in map design and spatial layout.• Excellent creative writing skills with a talent for developing engaging backstories and character profiles.• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality content.• Familiarity with design tools and software (e.g., mapping software, word processors) is a plus.
