Packaging Production Designer (Open to Remote)

We are looking for a Packaging Production Designer who will grow with our Creative Services team. This position will be remote with limited to no travel. The Production Designer's focus is on production design, primarily packaging, andsupports the Creative Team by using established creative work to build iterative versions in multiple formats and sizes. You'll revise, edit and build print ready files for labels, boxes, bottles, bags, header cards, point-of-purchase graphics and more. Additionally you may support creative campaigns by building digital and print ads for multiple platforms using existing campaign assets. There may also be opportunities for creative design work. Our ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail and a varied skill set that mixes creative and technical knowledge with project and time management skills. You're not intimidated or flustered by tight timelines or multiple requests for revisions. In this role you will: * Collaborate closely with the Creative, Production and Integrated Marketing teams. * Support Legal and Regulatory departments on packaging compliance initiatives. * Prepare press-ready files for various print partners and package formats. * Create PDFs for stakeholder review. * Make revisions based on review feedback. * Builds multiple sku sizes from existing/example/templated artwork. * Packages design files for delivery to separation agencies, print and media partners. * Adhere to production timelines to ensure timely delivery of print-ready files. * Maintain fidelity and design standards of original design files. * Catalog and reference art for future projects. * May contribute creative ideas and design work In addition, the person will also have: * Degree in graphic design or demonstrable related skills and experience * Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite Tools, specifically; Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat. * Solid knowledge of traditional and progressive printing processes, materials, substrates, color and ink. * Typography and layout skill set. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to proactively manage multiple projects to meet tight production deadlines. * Flexibility to quickly move between projects as priorities change. * Ability to accurately track and execute multiple revision requests. * Self-starter who is comfortable in an extremely fast-paced environment. * Able to keep projects moving forward when you may not have all of the information immediately available. * Strong organizational skills, Process oriented and meticulous attention to detail. * Prior experience in consumer product marketing. The starting budgeted pay range for this role will generally fall between $58,000.00 - $68,200.00.
