Summary of the Position:

The Digital Marketing Assistant supports the organization's communication and marketing strategy. Key responsibilities include social media, writing, project management and email deployment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work as part of a team to build and deploy emails, including manage email schedule; materials review, approval and submission; organization of email templates; email analytics

Build emails in BEE Pro, schedule and deploy emails using Pardot or Omeda's email deployment system

Work on development and deployment of various PMMI e-newsletters

Assists with quality control for emails, app, press releases, printed materials and website content

Track and analyze email campaigns, identify trends, provide recommendations to improve email effectiveness

Supports Manager, Social Media

Manage day-to-day execution of social media campaigns for PMMI and PACK EXPO

Generate reports to analyze campaigns and alongside the Manager, Social Media, provide recommendations and plans for revising social media

Stay on-top of social media trends and provide recommendations

Assist with planning and execution of on-site social media for meetings and tradeshows

Create images and videos to be used on social media

Supports staff MarComm liaisons for PMMI Business Drivers which may include:

Assist in maintaining promotional calendar for departments we support

Supports Director, Multimedia Production & Digital Marketing

Assists with video production for promotional videos

Helps edit Podcast episodes

Coordinates calendar for video production and podcast interviews

Writes promotional copy for e-newsletters, emails, website, print ads, social media, etc.

Assist web team to manage various communications channels such as push alerts for PMMI App, update the calendar and proofread sections on the PMMI website

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in communications, English, public relations, journalism or related field

1-3 years of experience

Interest and experience in Social Media and with SproutSocial

Excellent project management and organization skills. Ability to prioritize large volumes of projects and effectively see them through to conclusion, required

Strong writing and editing skills

Knowledge of AP style desired

Experience working with email deployment systems such as Pardot, MailChimp or Constant Contact desired.
