We are seeking a dynamic individual with a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial interior design. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Key Responsibilities:Proficiency in FF&E process/procurement and Construction DrawingsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks/projectsWillingness to travel for project installations/meetingsExperience in selection and specification of furniture, materials, and project color/style directionUnderstanding of ADA codes as they relate to Interior DesignProficient in generating finish plans, specifications, and schedules for constructionSkilled in notating and redlining specification drawings with selections and designsManage daily project tasks and organizationReview and monitor Labor Budgets throughout the processCoordinate furniture specification sheets, gather vendor quotes, and space planningReview custom furniture and millwork drawingsAttend vendor and sales rep presentationsCollaborate with external consultants, product representatives, vendors, and fabricatorsProvide leadership and guidance to project team membersManage client and consultant teams, project coordination, and deliverablesLead project phases from concept to construction completionAttend project meetings, site visits, presentations, and internal review meetingsManage construction administration tasks including RFI responses and submittal approvalsEnsure final review and approval of all deliverables and FF&E master sheetsIssue Change Order proposals and all deliverables to the client teamOversee project installation process and post-install follow-upFacilitate training of design team members in collaboration with the Commercial Department Studio ManagerProgram proficiency: AutoCAD, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, Blue Beam, Sketch-up (preferred but not required)Additional Information:This is a full-time positionPlease submit resume and portfolio in PDF format
