Job Description
Services is a global engineering firm with 35 years experience in the embedded systems, mechanical, manufacturing and electrical engineering spaces. With over 3000 dedicated employees across the US and India, we offer comprehensive and innovative solutions, specializing in energy and utilities, automotive, transportation, medical devices, consumer/industrial products and material handling. We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to join a long-term project onsite at a customer location in New Freedom, PA. This role will be instrumental in design changes for cost savings and sustainability for existing products in the commercial Heating and Cooling industry. It will come with PTO and paid holidays as well as a comprehensive benefits package. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for mechanical design. The Mechanical Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing designs for mechanical systems and products. This includes: ● Conceptualizing, designing, and detailing mechanical systems and products. ● Using design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Creo to create 2D and 3D models. ● Applying the principles of mechanics, materials, and thermodynamics to design mechanical systems and products. ● Conducting thorough feasibility studies and risk assessments on potential designs to ensure their functionality and reliability.
