Job Title: Mechanical Designer/DrafterJob DescriptionAs the Mechanical Drafter/Designer, you will work in the Engineering team and support product sustainability, customized product development, and new product development. Your day-to-day will include modeling and drafting product designs and drawings in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, processing Engineering Change Orders (ECO), updating Bill of Materials (BOM), testing products, and performing root cause analysis. Products include heating, cooling, and refrigeration solutions for the food and beverage industry.Hard Skills+ Associates degree in CAD (or similar) OR job experience in SolidWorks/AutoCAD drafting/design in Sheetmetal+ SolidWorks+ AutoCAD+ Mechanical Aptitude+ Basic Electrical Wiring KnowledgeSoft Skills+ Good Communication Skills (emails, phone calls, Teams meetings)+ Good Computer SkillsJob TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Dallas, Texas.Work EnvironmentIndividual will be working on an engineering team of 7-8 members, including electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, embedded systems engineers, and designer/drafters.
