LinkedIn’s internal Creative Studio is growing and we are looking for inspired creatives to be part of that. Our team is responsible for LinkedIn’s brand communication including brand campaigns, product marketing, business solutions, and social impact. We concept and produce creative campaigns that communicate and reinforce our vision and values as we drive to create a world-class brand—a brand whose mission it is to connect the world’s professionals, help people get jobs, and create more economic opportunity for everyone.

Below covers everything you need to know about what this opportunity entails, as well as what is expected from applicants.We’re looking for a Senior Designer whose creative thinking and design will help bring the brand to life in new and inspiring ways. With the support of our Creative leadership team, you’ll have big opportunities to both apply and grow your design abilities as you tackle challenges from layout design, collateral design, logo design, event design, and digital design.

Using just a few key brand fundamentals, you’ll apply your design sense to create unique, beautiful work that feels fresh, clean, and different, yet always part of our brand as a whole. Your role spans the entire creative process from blue-sky concepts to pixel-perfect delivery. Since we often sit at the creative center of LinkedIn, forward thinking about design scalability and usage is key as it takes flight globally.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Embrace, master, and extend LinkedIn’s brand aesthetic.

Rational backed design that is considerate of audience and placement.

Guide agencies and others as design is implemented/scaled, ensuring integrity is maintained.

Generate and develop treatments or materials against a creative vision or concept.

Ability to contribute ideas effectively based on strategic insight or creative brief.

Effectively present ideas to the Creative Director and internal stakeholders.

Work closely with the Project Manager for on-time check-ins and final delivery.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

4+ years concepting and designing brand initiatives.

Bachelor's degree, Ad school, or equivalent work experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Portfolio demonstrating range of design applications across various mediums.

Excel at craft and detail; nothing escapes you.

Have a solid knowledge of photography and the printing process.

Advanced working knowledge and capabilities with Adobe Creative Suite.

No ego, friendly, driven, and overall amazing creative ability.

This role will be based in either Sunnyvale or San Francisco, depending on which location the applicant chosen for the role is currently residing.
