Job Description

The Opportunity

The Content Manager ensures complete and timely delivery of product marketing collateral development, modification, compliance and production for our institutional public and private market materials, Mutual Funds, SMAs and any other vehicle associated with North America, EMEA and Asia based investment teams. In addition, ensuring new and existing material fall within the various regional regulatory rules and regulations by region and product type, corporate branding, governance and compliance guidelines. An emphasis will be placed on continuous evolving and reassessing of processes in order to increase efficiency and accuracy, utilizing technology and automation as available. Finally, delivering a high level of quality and consistency to Manulife / John Hancock Investment Management Global distribution, investment and product teams!

Responsibilities:

Assignment to an investment team(s) and consistently coordinate marketing collateral in all vehicles related to the team in line with the Content Management team’s multi-vehicle approach.

Complete and timely delivery of marketing communication for external use such as pitchbook presentations, used for prospect and client meetings, fact sheets, quarterly market and strategy/fund reviews, commentaries, trade updates, etc.

Run investment team strategy pages on Manulife Investment Management’s (IM) institutional web site.

Ensuring new and existing material fall within governance and compliance guidelines in addition to corporate branding and messaging by partnering with investment, product, compliance and distribution teams across the globe.

Ensure that content is led and curated within the appropriate content management systems, responsible for confirming that materials are archived in a timely manner upon compliance expirations.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase the efficiency, accuracy and compliance of marketing communications.

Partner with the following global teams throughout the development and sign off process: product management, investment management, compliance, performance and data, and distribution teams to ensure best practice process followed.

Ability to re-imagine and re-engineer processes and deliverables to drive efficiencies, leveraging technology and automation.

Maintain a quality control process ensuring all content is on-brand, error-free, consistent in style and optimized for search and user experience for all content channels including online, social media, email, point of purchase, mobile, video, print and in-person.

And other duties as assigned.

What are we looking for:

4-7 years of financial industry experience with a good understanding of asset management products, vehicles and methodologies as they relate to marketing communications.

Technical knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office (particularly PowerPoint presentation design including animations, image optimization, video, hyperlinks, and interactive elements). In addition to excel charting experience.

BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.

Strong organizational and autonomous decision-making skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively in a role with significant impact on client interaction, both internally and externally within a global organization.

Proficient with content management repositories such as Seismic, Qvidian, etc.

Applies technology-based tools and processes, digital skills a plus.

Problem solving capabilities and ability to segment themselves in the task at hand.

Ability to work under tight deadlines while handling a large volume of work in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with developing templates, guidelines, policies, procedures and training materials.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams, internal clients, and distribution teams.

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.

Primary Location : Boston, Massachusetts

Salary range is expected to be between : $68,475.00 USD - $114,125.00 USD
