Senior UX/UI DesignerWhat does a successful UI/UX Designer, Senior do at Fiserv?As a member of our Data Commerce Solutions group, you will build and take ownership of the design and development of data engineering & web applications projects within Fiserv’s Enterprise Data Commerce Solutions division. You will be responsible for leading the design process, creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces, and ensuring a seamless user experience.What you will do:Provide strategic direction for UX/UI design initiatives, aligning with business goals.Own and evolve the design system, ensuring consistency and enforcing guidelines.Act as a liaison between design and development teams, fostering collaboration.Advocate for user-centered design principles, conducting in-depth user research.Drive the generation of innovative UI/UX concepts, experimenting with new approaches.Plan and conduct usability tests, analyze results, and iterate designs for improvement.Oversee multiple design projects, collaborating with project managers to optimize workflows.Conduct design audits to ensure compliance with standards and enforce quality assurance processes.What you will need to have:Bachelor's degree in Design or related field.5+ years of proven experience in UX/UI design.Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe CS.Strong understanding of design principles and best practices.Excellent communication skills for presenting and defending design decisions.Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing project requirements.Leadership experience, particularly in leading design teams, is preferred.What would be great to have:Experience in Banking, Financial domain.Advanced Degrees or Certifications: Additional degrees or certifications in relevant fields.Front-End Frameworks: Experience with more than one front-end framework.Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, Hawaii, New York or Washington.What you should know about us:Fiserv is a global leader in payments and financial technology with more than 40,000 associates proudly serving clients in more than 100 countries.
