SUMMARY :Responsible for collaborating on the U.S. Health Care Practitioner (HCP) professional strategy & execution of tactics, and, as needed, some non-personal and promo med-ed (PME) tactics with the potential launch of REXULTI PTSD, pending FDA approval. The role engages closely with the alliance partner, cross-functional partners and Brand Team. Responsible for driving HCP engagement and utilization of REXULTI through development of promotional tactics and initiatives for the field sales force. Proactively engages with cross-functional stakeholders in medical, sales ops, digital transformation, market research, advanced analytics, sales training, and field sales leadership. This individual also keeps a keen eye on brand performance and contributes to ensuring the team meets or exceeds sales and other financial targets.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Marketing Strategy

Works, under guidance of the Brand Lead and in partnership with other HCP marketers, on development of the brand strategy for U.S. HCPs for potential launch of REXULTI PTSD, pending FDA approval, by utilizing sound marketing principles, available market research and data analysis.

Works closely with sales and brand leadership to monitor brand performance and drive optimizations to increase revenue and achieve overall brand success.

Proactively considers/identifies new strategies, tactics, and vendors to challenge the team's thinking and raise the level of performance.

Partners with and leads outside agencies to develop HCP strategy and manage the promotional tactics.

Marketing Execution

Successfully drives development, implementation, and evolution of new and existing HCP promotional, non-personal and PME materials coordinating with relevant cross functional partners, including Sales/Sales Leadership to optimize based on key learnings.

Manages day-to-day brand HCP budget related to workstreams, and ensures on-time delivery within budget.

Drives development of selling tools for the sales force and coordinates with training to ensure all field account managers are trained.

Works as one of the brand liaisons with the sales force and sales operations functions.

Drives organization and planning around field regional and national sales meetings.

Develops and executes advisory boards and consultant meetings where outputs link to HCP professional, non-personal and PME strategies and tactical development.

Develops and leads KOL tactic opportunities where outputs link to HCP professional strategy and execution, such as KOL speaker programs, management of Speaker's Bureau and development of speaker decks.

Establishes ways to measure impact, reports results, and adjust plans accordingly.

Ensures all marketing projects are compliant and have obtained necessary approvals through the appropriate medical, legal, and regulatory review process.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Influence

Partners closely with other marketing team members and cross-functional teams to develop brand strategies and tactics.

Establishes strong relationship with the alliance and influences alliance partners to ensure joint decision making that is sound and reasonable.

Ensures Lundbeck's needs and POV are represented in alliance interactions, cultivating trust and respect, and asserting when necessary.

Implements promotional materials and activities by providing appropriate direction to sales training and the field organization.

Develops cross-department support of the brand by coordinating with field sales leadership, sales training, market research, medical affairs, and public relations.

Collaborates and communicates directly with brand leadership, sales leadership, sales training, sales teams, and other cross-functional partners to ensure alignment.

Partners with Medical, Legal and Regulatory Affairs to communicate reasons for strategic and tactical plans, and obtain concept buy-in before developing new initiatives.

Provides innovative solutions to new and existing challenges.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS:Accredited Bachelor's degree.

6+ years sales, marketing, or other relevant commercial experience.

4+ years pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech, or healthcare experience.

Demonstrated ability to influence others and build consensus.

Demonstrated relationship development with the ability to work effectively both independently or within a cross-functional team.

Demonstrated ability to lead and move multiple related & unrelated workstreams forward in parallel.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, namely Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS:2+ years brand marketing experience.

Psychiatry Marketing experience.

Experience selling or marketing mental health products to psychiatrists, PCPs, or Neurologists, NP/PAs.

Expertise with both development of brand strategy and execution of a strategy at the tactical level.

Experience managing third-party vendors/agencies, keeping them on-time, in budget and ensuring that their activities are aligned with brand strategy.

Experience working within a Strategic Partnership/Co-Promotion (Alliance).

Experience developing, implementing and optimizing marketing plans.

Experience leading digital/Non-Personal Promotion (NPP) marketing workstreams/tactics.

Experience with OPDP and FDA requirements.

Field sales experience preferred.

TRAVEL:Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically (up to 50% if remote based). International travel may be required.

The range displayed is a national range, and if selected for this role, may vary based on various factors such as the candidate's geographical location, qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. Salary Pay Range: $155,000 - $185,000 and eligibility for a 15% bonus target based on company and individual performance, and eligibility to participate in the company's long-term incentive plan.Benefits for this position include flexible paid time off (PTO), health benefits to include Medical, Dental and Vision, and company match 401k.
