Marketing Communications & Program Manager

plays a pivotal role in advancing the New England Employee Benefits Council's (NEEBC) mission by planning, promoting/marketing, project-managing, and executing a diverse range of campaigns, programs, conferences, events and resources aimed at engaging NEEBC's members, partners, stakeholders, and prospects. Responsibilities vary widely and may be time-sensitive, requiring a proactive and adaptable approach to ensure successful outcomes. This exempt role reports to NEEBC's Executive Director. The ideal candidate is a dedicated and integral member of the NEEBC team, committed to enhancing member engagement and organizational growth through strategic and effective program management and marketing communications.Full Time

(Monday through Friday). Some flexibility on scheduled work hours. Seasonal and programming spikes occur intermittently. Hybrid/remote models are available for discussion.Traditional office suite with modern conveniences, including neighboring

.Minutes from Concord Center; stone's throw away fromThoreau Farm, home of Walden's Henry David Thoreau, Minuteman National Park, and childhood homes of Louisa May Alcott and Ralph Waldo Emerson.SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWorks closely with NEEBC Executive Director to execute marketing and programming strategy.Marketing Communications duties include:Act as NEEBC’s brand champion, guided by mission, vision and strategic initiatives.Design marketing campaigns (including target audience, messaging, imagery, call-to-action and channels).Develop monthly communications plan and coordinate and share with team.Create and maintain web components related to campaigns, programs, conferences or events. Same for NEEBC resources.Maintain and update digital assets and “neebc.org” website and ensure compliance with brand (logos, color palette, messaging, imagery, photos, videos, webinars, PDFs, etc.).Monitor and report web usage/trafficDesign and create marketing pieces:

EmailsSocial media posts (imagery, test and call-to-action)Paid adsConference signageConference microsites

Monitor social media accounts and respond to comments/reposts/shares accordingly; recommend new initiatives or transitions to existing apps/accounts.Measure and report marketing results.Program Management duties include:Serve as primary resource to Program & Events CommitteeRecommend, document and support the execution of annual programming direction/focus, relying on legacy programming as foundation.Support NEEBC BOD Vice President of Programs & Events, including monthly meeting management, program revenue analysis, etc.Create, implement and maintain annual calendar of events; periodically publish distributable “save-the-date” marketing pieces.Manage committee meeting cadence and deliverablesCoordinate interaction with all program speakers; organize/review/edit program materials; and post content on website.Lead planning, delivery and project-manage lifecycle of NEEBC programs, conferences and events, to include all Program Committee initiatives (i.e., program descriptions, themes, milestones, skeleton and detailed agendas, central messaging, project management, risk identification, committee deadlines, PPTs and other sharable materials, reporting, run-of-show documentation & event execution, debriefs).Draft and maintain annual programming budget to forecast revenue.Regularly review budget performance, registration trends and programming goals, and recommend content and pricing elements to NEEBC’s Executive Director.Oversee speaker, panelist, and committee communication, including meeting details, agendas, venue logistics, AV, PPTs, materials and other required elements.Design, implement and report results of programming surveys.Schedule and facilitate (annual or more frequent) review meetings with database, job board, and external-learning partners.Interface with NEEBC Board, as needed (e.g., LinkedIn usage, promoting programs, etc.).REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Administration/Project Management, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, Curriculum Development or equivalent experience.2-3 years prior, related marketing communications experience strongly preferred.3-4 years meeting planning experience preferred, with association/non-profit experience a plus.Familiarity with content and/or industry (Benefits, Compensation, Human Resources) preferred.Experience defining and overseeing integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns for member attraction, acquisition and retention. Experience creating marketing campaign collateral.Proficiency as a project manager strongly preferred.Proficient with digital marketing and design tools and other technology products:Association Management System (e.g., MemberClicks Pro, Personify) and/or a marketing automation system/CRM (e.g., Salesforce, MailChimp, Constant Contact) preferredCanva or equivalentMS Office, MS PaintMS Teams/SharePointOutlookZoomGoogle Analytics and KeywordsFile transfer/compression softwareVideo and graphics files/formats; Video editing tools, a plus
