VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES & MARKETING .

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee National company pipeline of potential distribution center management customersWill focus on automotive target market (Ford, GM, Chrysler etc.)Develop and implement sales strategy specific to automotive customersDevelop and implement sales strategy for targeted growth in select non-automotive OEM markets specifically for the vertical industrial segment.Reports to the COOWith a thorough understanding of the customer’s business model, collaborate with the product team to identify and propose distribution center management/logistics solutions to customers utilizing the organization's products and services that translate into closed, contracted business dealsResponsible to extend or renew existing contracts before or upon contract expiration, as well as identify opportunities for customer growth in new geographic locations, new industries, or with additional products and servicesDevelop and implement sales selling cycle and methodology based on market research and competitor analysesSupport pricing and business models

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Must have experience selling to Automotive OEM indirect purchasing groupsMust have a thorough understanding of the math behind costing and pricingExperience with specific sales funnel management and structuring sales quotaTen plus years of experience in THIRD PARTY LOGISTICS automotive salesWorking knowledge or experience in comprehensive supply chain solutions including warehouse management systems, labor solutions, and overall designExtensive travel requiredSkill in the operation of a variety of computer software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Sales CRM
