The Center for Mathematics, Science, and Computer Education (CMSCE) invites applications for part-time Curriculum Developers/Designers. We seek qualified candidates who can contribute to the university’s educational mission.

Check all associated application documentation thoroughly before clicking on the apply button at the bottom of this description.Successful candidates will create and/or update curriculum in the fields of STEM, STEAM, Makerspace education, SWIFT coding and application development, specialized certificate programs/workshops, as well as the demand for hybrid and fully online courses. Applicant’s core knowledge should include, but is not limited to, any concentration falling under science, mathematics, computer science, technology, engineering, education, or related fields.Responsibilities

Conducting research of curricula in order to determine what materials, resources, and innovations should be added, revised, or adapted to meet new learning models.Developing/redesigning curricula for K-12 or higher education (e.g., graduate or undergraduate), which will include traditional lecture, hybrid, and/or fully online courses.Preparing course materials (i.e., syllabi, presentations, hand-outs, reading materials, videos, etc.), in multiple variations for use in both traditional lectures and online platforms/technology.Position Status Part TimeQualifications

Minimum Education and Experience:

Master’s degree in a related field and/or relevant industry experience is required; doctorate degrees are preferred. Prior teaching experience at the graduate level is preferred.Pre-employment Screenings:
