Is this the role you are looking for If so read on for more details, and make sure to apply today.This is an internal search for a part-time administrative role for a full-time, tenured faculty member in the Department of Appalachian Studies. This is a 9-month appointment for the academic year, with some summer duties. The position is responsible to the Director of the Center of Excellence for Appalachian Studies and Services for directing the Institute for Appalachian Music and Culture as it fulfills its mission to highlight, preserve, and extend the rich and diverse music and cultural heritage of the unique Appalachian mountain region.ETSU is committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce by ensuring all of our students, faculty, and staff work in an environment of openness and acceptance. Advanced knowledge of principles, standards, and best practices in research, scholarship, and creative activity in Appalachian Studies and Bluegrass, Old-Time, and Roots Music Studies.Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to find innovative solutions.Ability to develop and implement clear plans, policies, and procedures and use assessment results to make improvements.Strong administrative skills, with the ability to effectively manage personnel, projects, and budgets.Ability to foster a collegial work environment in which innovation and creativity are encouraged.Ability to promote the Institute and its programs to a wide range of audiences, across the university and the broader community.Required Qualifications Current ETSU full-time, tenured faculty member in the Department of Appalachian Studies with an established record of production in research, scholarship, or creative activity in the discipline.Preferred Qualifications

Experience in writing and administering grants.Experience in producing audio recordings in the discipline.Knowledge of the production of digital content in the humanities.Salary $3600 stipendDocuments Needed To Apply Required Documents
