As a Senior Copy Editor, you will be a member of Capital Group's broader Marketing team and support the production of creative, customized content for our social media team. You will have responsibility for ensuring accuracy and consistency across these communications.

You have a bachelor's degree.You have a minimum of five years' experience as a copy editor in a professional setting.You have a working knowledge of investment concepts or are willing to learn about them.You demonstrate meticulous attention to detail.You have experience copy editing, proofreading and fact-checking content in marketing materials.You can recommend edits based on knowledge of target audience, compliance regulations and internal/external style guides. Your input will help ensure accuracy and improve overall tone, clarity and conciseness.You will participate in a broader copy editor community within Capital Group in order to identify and recommend process improvements for more effective content development and review.You have experience with different media channels: print, email, web and video.You can prioritize and complete a steady stream of assignments in a timely manner.You thrive in collaborative team settings and enjoy working closely with writers and designers.You are comfortable working within a hybrid work environment and can work out of our Los Angeles office three days per week.

Los Angeles Base Salary Range: $76,383-$122,213

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
