We empower businesses to accelerate their sales cycles, increase engagement, and close more deals by leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies.As we continue our growth trajectory, we're seeking an elite Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our marketing strategy, drive product-led growth, and scale our brand to new heights.Role Overview:The CMO will be responsible for defining and executing Saleslights’ global marketing strategy, driving product-led growth, and leading our brand to become a dominant player in the sales technology space. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in digital marketing, sales technology, and enterprise SaaS, with a proven track record of scaling lean teams to outperform larger competitors.They will possess a strong understanding of AI-driven marketing, founder-led marketing, and the creation of high-quality, engaging content. This role requires a dynamic leader with a growth mindset, who is adept at fostering product advocacy, building power user communities, and forging strategic partnerships.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute a comprehensive global marketing strategy to drive product-led growth and brand recognition.Lead demand generation efforts through digital channels, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, content marketing, and social media.Align to parallel sales led growth functions in small business, mid-market, and enterprise.Leverage AI to enhance the marketing department, team, efficiency, and performance.Product-Led Growth:Implement and scale a product-led growth strategy that drives customer acquisition, retention, and expansion.Create and optimize the customer journey from awareness to advocacy, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience.Brand Development & Content Strategy:Build and maintain a powerful and cohesive brand presence across all digital and physical touchpoints.Lead the creation of cutting-edge, high-quality content that resonates with target audiences and drives engagement.Emphasize founder-led and leadership-led marketing initiatives to position Saleslights as a thought leader in the sales technology space.Field Events:Orchestrate low-budget in-major market USA resources for field events and manage the event program.Customer Advocacy & Community Building:Develop and nurture power user communities and brand advocates to amplify the reach and impact of Saleslights.Drive customer success initiatives that turn satisfied users into vocal advocates and champions of our brand.Identify and cultivate strategic channel partnerships, including integrators, vendors, and affiliate marketers.Drive co-marketing and co-selling initiatives with key partners to expand market reach and accelerate growth.Performance Marketing & Advertising:Lead performance marketing efforts across multiple channels, including Facebook Ads, YouTube Ads, Google Ads, and more.Optimize ad spend and ROI through data-driven decision-making and continuous testing.Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of diversity, innovation, collaboration, and excellence.Scale lean teams to deliver exceptional results, outperforming larger competitors in the market.Deliver a high-performing team and automated system that can eventually support a potential 4-day workweek, and longer vacation periods and personal enrichment time for employees and partners.Data-Driven Decision Making:Utilize analytics and data-driven insights to continuously refine marketing strategies and optimize campaign performance.Implement marketing technologies, automation, and tools that enhance efficiency, tracking, and reporting.Qualifications:6+ years of marketing leadership experience, ideally in sales technology, CRM technology, or related enterprise SaaS fields.Proven track record of driving product-led growth, scaling marketing teams, and building dominant brands in competitive markets.Experience with AI-driven marketing technologies and a deep understanding of modern digital marketing strategies.Skills:Expertise in digital marketing, product-led growth, content strategy, and brand development.Strong understanding of AI technologies, sales engagement tools, and enterprise SaaS markets.Proficiency in performance marketing, including managing high-ROI campaigns on platforms like Facebook, YouTube, and Google.Experience building and nurturing customer advocacy programs and power user communities.Leadership:Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, lead, and scale a high-performing marketing team.Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of driving both high-level strategy and day-to-day execution.Mindset:Growth-oriented, innovative, and data-driven, with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with external partners.Seniority level:
