Innovative Program & Design Director - Specialty Care / Hospital BU The Learning and Experience Innovation team partners closely with and leads across key stakeholders within Commercial Engagement training, across customer engagement BU teams, and external training vendors, associations, and innovative adult learning entities. The team works to cross-functionally lead and partner to develop and deliver best-in-class Customer Engagement Training.The team will define, develop, and deliver Customer Engagement Training processes, programs and ensure aligned curriculum design across training verticals to ensure training meets the needs of customer facing organizations. Efforts led and managed will include but may not be limited to the creation and execution of field faculty programs, customer-facing advisory councils and oversight into key existing and needed commercial engagement efforts where training is a key strategic and execution partner and driver with and for customer facing and leader teams. This will ensure training is effectively and efficiently embedded across needed customer facing business efforts and standard operating procedures so that training is supporting, leading and delivering the needed content and delivery design for world class experience and results.In addition to leading across the commercial customer facing teams, the Learning & Experience Innovation team will be the single-point of accountability owner of trainer development curriculum content and delivery for our Global Customer Engagement Training organization. This critical area of ownership will result in a world class train-the-trainer construct that crosses roles and topics, strengthens the capabilities of our Training organization, and delivers significant development opportunities and learnings across Training.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIESServe as the primary Customer Engagement Training interface and partner to the customer facing platform and unit leads to help drive strategic priorities.Source, lead and manage the development, design, execution, and delivery of content, constructs, and process for Customer Engagement Training train-the-trainer curriculum.Define, develop, and deliver Customer Engagement Training processes and programs that meet the needs of the customer engagement platforms to include market, unique initiatives, and/or unit performance.Lead and connect end-to-end experience workflows, by roles and topics, to ensure a seamless integration across all verticals in the Customer Engagement Training organization – and ensure consistency for all customer facing platform builds.Define both short-term and long-term Training priorities for the customer engagement platform, in collaboration with customer facing leadership and other key stakeholders.Understand and leverage the priorities, strategies, structures, ways of working, sales and market analytics and trends, and technology platforms of the customer engagement platforms to help develop and evolve best-in-class Training.Build and lead strong cross-functional relationships with customer engagement partners to include Executive Leadership, Enablement, Marketing, Medical, Sales, Regulatory, and Legal teams to prioritize Training needs and manage demands.Collaborate with Customer Engagement Training LT and Subject Matter Experts to ensure stakeholder alignment and strategic planning for end-to-end experiences and identify, track, and evaluate metrics, results, key performance indicators for training productivity.Design and implement customer engagement platform growth and technical training initiatives to meet goals and support strategies.Collaborate across the Integrated Training team and other relevant stakeholders to determine suitable content for implementation in alignment with platform and customer engagement strategies.Coordinate with members of the Customer Engagement Training team to support the development and execution of training and leadership development for the Customer Engagement Training organization (internal to the Training organization) and deliver dynamic and core curriculum that will result in world-class trainer skills and capabilities across Training roles and leader levels.Contribute to Training’s Operating Plan development and execute aligned strategies and tactics.Assess tools to ensure fit-for-purpose and adoption where appropriate across Customer Engagement Training team.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBA/BS degree or equivalent.15+ years of enablement, account management, sales, marketing, training, or relevant Commercial experience.Demonstrated ability to align knowledge with customer engagement platform priorities, translate strategy into operational constructs, design and develop end-to-end experience workflows, and execute strategies seamlessly and in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.Proven ability to lead, influence, train, and develop others across all levels – both leader lines and customer-facing colleagues.Proven people leadership experience in a matrix organization, direct and/or cross-functional, including leading people to meet goals and work together to achieve an objective, providing constructive feedback, and motivating employees.Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of the unique needs and ways of working of the Commercial customer engagement platforms, headquarters, specific go-to-market approaches, internal marketing/accounts/sales design, and other important cross-functional areas.Demonstrated expertise on the advanced marketplace, healthcare environment, collaborative approaches to customer engagement, and developing objectives and solutions.Executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally.Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of building partnerships, interacting with stakeholders at varying levels, and building collaborative teams that work together across functions to meet aligned objectives.Outstanding presentation, facilitation, and writing skills.Ability to develop and deliver multi-modal communications that convey understandings of unique needs of different audiences.Project Management experience and organizational abilities to simultaneously manage multiple complex projects.Demonstrated creativity skills, with a track record of creating innovative ideas, developing new and better ways of working, and deploying innovative tools and technologies.Experience with data analysis of complex learning, sales and market related data from multiple sources to draw appropriate conclusions and help guide decision making.Ability to make sense of complex information to make sound judgment and decision making with minimal direction.Proven track record of holding self and others accountable to meet commitments.Experience leading a diverse team to achieve common goals, In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
