As a Sr. Technical Artist, you will play a critical role in optimizing the visual fidelity and performance of the game. This position requires an expert-level understanding of both artistic and technical processes, focusing on creating tools, refining shaders, and optimizing assets to ensure the game runs smoothly on all platforms.
Key Responsibilities :Optimization : Lead efforts in optimizing 3D assets and shaders for performance across various platforms.Pipeline Enhancement : Develop and refine the content pipeline to streamline the creation and integration of assets.Tool Creation : Design and implement tools to improve efficiency for the art and design teams.Collaboration : Work closely with artists, engineers, and designers to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure high-quality visual output.Mentorship : Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technical artists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.Qualifications :Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Art, or a related field.7+ years of experience as a technical artist in the gaming industry, with a focus on AAA titles.Mastery of game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, C#).Strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of 3D art, shaders, and performance optimization.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for pushing the boundaries of game visuals.Compensation :Salary : $100,500 to $125,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.Benefits
