Reporting to the Senior Director of Enrollment and Communication, the Assistant Director of Enrollment Marketing is responsible for executing communication initiatives that drive more applications and yield higher quality prospective students. This includes managing the daily coordination and delivery of marketing content and communications that meet the designed communication strategy. This role will perform data processing work supporting the communication flow and e-marketing functions including but not limited to, admissions data, digital and printed communication flow and reports. The Assistant Director of Enrollment Marketing utilizes software and systems, primarily the CRM (Slate) and student information system (Ellucian Colleague) to support recruitment efforts. The Assistant Director of Enrollment Marketing will also serve as a member of the Enrollment Marketing Team.Responsibilities include:Collaborates with the Enrollment Marketing Team to ensure that a marketing and communications plan is created and that its components are implemented, delivered and evaluated in an effective and timely manner.Monitors results and ROI for marketing initiatives. Reports weekly on campaign effectiveness and web analytics to maximize productivity. Creates an annual marketing report for Admissions.Assist in developing engaging and informative content for social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others.Write and edit blog posts, articles, and other digital content to showcase the college's programs, achievements, and student success stories.Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing graphics, videos, and other multimedia content for marketing campaigns.Supports the ongoing development and management of mixed-media, data-driven targeted recruitment and admissions communication plans executed within the CRM for Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions, serving multiple constituencies, including prospective students, parents, school counselors, volunteers, other influencers, and the university community at large.Conceptualizes and oversees development of custom Slate portals. Build and maintain existing portals.Creates communication strategy, including the design of infrastructure needed to implement an engagement index for the in-house prospect management and prioritization.Serves as Slate Captain - help create accounts, assign permissions and train new team members, deploys new product updates, implements best practices across the division, and serves as a point of contact for undergraduate and graduate admission teams when issues arise with Slate processes.Responsible for execution and development of daily communications to prospective students, applicants and incoming students. This includes electronic and print copy and support of digital marketing efforts. Works with Enrollment Marketing Team to conceptualize, develop and execute communications plans throughout the funnel (prospect to matriculation) to include call-to-action emails, recruitment/operational emails and newsletters by program and target audience.Works with external partners to develop, maintain and coordinate communication efforts in order to maximize yield on leads generated.Develops and tests rules within CRM systems to ensure that communications are sent to the correct audiences at the correct times in accordance to the recruitment communication plan and calendar.Creates accurate reports and lists of students based on key data.Works with recruitment staff in utilizing the CRM to send out communications outside the normal communication calendar and track ad hoc communications.

Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree.A background in marketing/communications and project management is essential, with 1-3 years of experience coordinating these functions in a complex organization preferred.Must be very collaborative and able to work cooperatively across units and team members in a matrixed environment, highly organized and efficient.Must have experience creating and managing communication and marketing plans, in addition to analyzing data and formulating reports.Excellent organizational, verbal, written communication, customer service and interpersonal skills, and a problem solver who takes initiative and responsibility.Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks effectively. Must be proactive, able to prioritize, and adapt in an ever-changing environment.Self-motivated to track progress, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects concurrently.Proficient overall computer skills.Preferred qualifications:Professional experience in higher education and experience working with an operational database.Comfort with marketing automation tools, email marketing, CRM software (Slate, Adobe/Photoshop/InDesign).Some knowledge of HTML code or working within a content management system. At a minimum, candidate should have ability to create and edit in email editing tools (such as Dreamweaver, Komodo, or in CRM systems such as Slate).Fluent in multiple languages.
