This position can be based out of Century City or Encino (CA) on a hybrid basis.Overview of Role:

The Account Manager acts as the primary point of contact for all client-related needs, is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day finances of their assigned clients, and oversees a staff of bookkeepers.Responsibilities:Daily client financial activity, including requests and timely follow up on all outstanding mattersReview work of bookkeepers (AP/AR, cash receipt and journal entry coding, general ledger, payroll, and financial statement review)Review bank balances and statements and approve transfers as neededMonitor credit card activity, fraud alerts, and credit score issuesMonitor insurance renewals and claimsAssist with home and car purchasesOther projects, as neededA successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:4+ years of experience in full-charge accounting and bookkeeping for high net-worth individuals, preferably within entertainment business management3+ years of experience in the client services field2+ years of experience in tour accounting is strongly favoredAssociate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is highly favored; a High School Diploma or GED equivalent is requiredComprehensive knowledge of the general ledger, AP/AR, insurance, payroll, bank reconciliations, and financial statementsSolid interpersonal skills and other key soft skills (i.e., communication, time management, emotional intelligence, adaptability, active listening, critical-thinking, etc.)Prior experience in a Lead, Senior, or Management roleExcellent communication skills (in person, on the phone, and via email)Sense of urgency and demonstrated ability to follow throughCommitment to professionalism, timeliness, and accuracyAdvanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and databasesExperience with AgilLink, DataFaction and/or Imaging Software is highly preferredCandidate information, including education and work experience, is verified upon an offer of employment. Employee compensation is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, employee education/training/credentials, employee work experience, work location (including if the employee will be hybrid or fully in-office), the scope and responsibilities of the role, internal peer equity, and market considerations. Applicants will be considered for the Account Manager and Senior Account Manager level. The expected base compensation hiring range for these positions is as follows:Account Manager: $75,000 to $112,105 per yearGelfand, Rennert & Feldman is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
