Legal Marketing Coordinator

for our Seattle office, a role that offers the opportunity to manage the firm's digital marketing needs on a daily basis. The successful candidate will be instrumental in enhancing the visibility of Williams Kastner and our practice areas, industries, and individual attorneys. Key responsibilities include graphic design, external marketing communication, website content, presentations, brochures, press releases, advertisements, newsletters, events, sponsorship, accolades, and other assigned projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal marketing and a good understanding of law firm structure. Importantly, depending on business needs, there is a possibility of working remotely one day per week, offering a balance between office and home-based work.What could make you a standout candidate for this role? You have experience in law firm marketing, are even-keeled, able to manage multiple projects with ease, proactive, passionate about your work, confident, presentable, able to pitch creative and thoughtful ideas, and have excellent time management.Responsibilities of the Legal Marketing Coordinator:Create and maintain the firm’s social media presence across all digital platforms – LinkedIn, Twitter, and the WK website.Assist with preparing pitch materials, RFP responses, practice group and industry brochures, and capabilities statements for clients.Create and design marketing materials for digital and print using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop).Adhere to established/approved firm brand and style guide in the production of all printed and digital materials.Develop and prepare PowerPoint presentations and marketing materials for client meetings, seminars, workshops, and events.Compile, update, and maintain practice group and industry mailing lists for marketing purposes.Proficient use and management of the iContact database.Create and distribute practice group e-mail alerts and newsletters in the email management system.Assist in drafting, formatting, and distributing press releases and newsletters to media contacts.Create, update, and maintain attorney bios on the website, practice group profiles, and brochures.Assist Office and Events Coordinator with marketing materials and graphic support for firm events.Assist with planning and logistical support for firm marketing and community charity or sponsorship events.Ad hoc responsibilities as requested.Qualifications of the Legal Marketing Coordinator:Advanced working knowledge and experience with graphic design, layout, and production processes. Knowledge of Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is required. Photography skills are desirable but not required.Strong writing, editing, and production/desktop publishing skills.Ability to effectively communicate with a broad mix of attorneys, staff, and vendors.Proven customer service attitude and skills are essential.Excellent organization and communication skills (both verbal and written).Detail-oriented with the ability to plan and problem-solve while handling multiple projects under pressure.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Experience with WordPress, Google Analytics, iContact, and social media platforms, such as LinkedIn and Twitter, is a plus.Working knowledge of HTML is a plus.Observe the confidentiality of the attorney’s client information, sensitive marketing information, and firm business to which the incumbent is exposed.Additional experience and educational preferences:Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, journalism, public relations, communications, English, or related field.5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.Salary Range and Benefits:$80,000-$90,000 – This salary range is dependent upon a variety of factors, which include but are not limited to the following: the candidate’s relevant experience, skill level, and demonstrated ability to perform all of the essential functions of the position as well as the ability to perform tasks which would arise from the needs of the position or as assigned and all of the qualifications listed in the job description. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short & long-term disability, 401K, paid time off, and holiday pay.Working Conditions:Typical office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature, etc. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time; frequently operates a computer and other office machinery such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer; often works under deadlines; occasionally needs to move about the office to access file cabinets, machinery, etc. Ability to occasionally lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds.Our DNA Code:Be Exceptional
