Marketing Operations Coordinator for a technologyclient located in

the greater Chicago area . The ideal candidate will come with 2-3 years of experience. This is a full-time , hybrid ,

6-month

contract opportunity with a strong likelihood of extension . Compensation for this position is expected to be

$20-$25/hour

depending on experience level and fit.The Marketing operations team brings the marketing strategies and plans to life for the customer by becoming an expert in effectively executing outbound marketing content and messaging. This team supports cross-marketing functions by facilitating traditional project management. This team will also support the technology requirements of the marketing organization, managing rollouts, upgrades, etc.

The Marketing Operations Coordinator manages the creation, development, and implementation of event collateral, social media, digital, and email marketing activities and ensures the timely completion of strategic marketing plans.

This person will report to the Marketing Operations Manager within the Marketing operations team, and it is essential for them develop a basic understanding of the strategy and individual marketing campaigns as well as solutions areas.What You’ll Do:Communicate company's overall mission, incorporating corporate and campaign goals and key messages into every project.Maintain an understanding of the strategy of the various marketing campaigns as well as campaign focuses.Manage the project milestones from strategic development to execution of a project and ensure the project requirements are met and successfully delivered.Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders /partners at all levels.Trouble-shoot and review difficult situations within projects and escalates to management and stakeholders.Review delegated tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion.Effectively build consensus with project team and stakeholders to move projects forward.Bring forth possible options for resolving project challenges.Manage the creative project workflow system by leveraging existing project management tools, such as EMM and Microsoft project.Schedule and facilitate brainstorming meetings along with status calls with the agency/internal design teams and Execution Business Owners (EBOs) to communicate projects at risk.Coordinate all stakeholder communications, feedback and approvals in a timely manner.Handle the coordination of projects and is responsible for the completion of marketing activities and the creative approval process.Stay abreast of industry best practices around project management through research, conferences, training seminars and participation in professional associations.What You’ll Need:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Project Management or equivalent work experience.2-3 year's experience coordinating Marketing, Sales or related activities.Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously with strong attention to detail.Strong organizational skills with a track record of meeting deadlines and the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate information and interact with stakeholders at all levels including senior leadership.Proven ability to proactively collaborate and build relationships, take initiative, and creatively problem-solve.History of successfully coordinating complex projects, with multiple facets and stakeholders.Understanding of Microsoft Office applications.2-3 years of project management experience. (preferred)Understanding and proficiency in using project management tools including workflow systems like IBM Enterprise Marketing Management - EMM, and Adobe Acrobat Pro. (preferred)
