Sales Account Executive, Fortune Media – Southeast Region

We are looking for a dynamic, high-performing Account Rep with experience selling media; cross platform is ideal across digital (programmatic & direct), events, and print – with specific expertise and experience in the Southeast market. You will be responsible for developing a client book of business, splitting business with other regions as appropriate. This role will require continuous learning to represent Fortune expertise in the market while hunting and closing new business. The ideal candidate has a history of bringing on new business and hitting sales quotas and loves the challenges that come with outbound prospecting in a competitive market. We are looking for a trustworthy team player capable of creativity and big picture partnership building.

Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotasManage the sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal and working with internal teams to executeUnearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnershipsPresent products to prospective clientsProvide professional after-sales support, working within current Fortune deal flow infrastructure, to enhance the customers’ dedicationRemain in frequent contact with the clients in your responsibility to understand their needsRespond to complaints and resolve issues aiming for customer contentment and the preservation of the company’s reputationNegotiate agreements and keep records of sales, forecasts, and performance

Qualifications For Account Executive

Proven experience as an Account Executive, or in another sales/customer service roleKnowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principlesOutstanding navigation of MS Office products and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationshipsOrganizational and time-management skillsCross platform sales experienceDemonstrated relationships amongst clients and media agenciesEnthusiasm, passion, business acumen

Compensation

Base salary $70,000 - $80,000 plus commissions targeting total compensation of $150,000 - $160,000+

Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Sponsorship includes H-1B, STEM OPT, TN, and any other type of employer-sponsored nonimmigrant or immigrant work authorization.
